This was a tracked mix that I did for my day-one homie, Eduardo Scizzahandz, and his “Bring The Noise” radio show on WKUF 94.3FM. The first half of the mix contains hype tracks from 1986-1988 that I loved in my early teens. Because we’ve all heard these songs a million times before, I did some cut’n’paste-style edits, rearrangements, and blends to breathe new life into them.

The second half of the mix contains Golden Era tracks that I loved in my late teens and early twenties… and just like the first half, I didn’t want to just play the same ol’ same ol’. For over a decade, I’ve been collecting a lot of dope Japanese remixes and other rare songs from this era, and I decided that now was the perfect time to share some of them! Also, because this was for Flint radio, I was inspired to create a new MC Breed blend as a special exclusive for Bring The Noise radio.

I had a great time hanging out with Eduardo Scizzahandz and his son MixMastaMas at the radio station, being interviewed about my past exploits, sharing stories, and afterwards eating some amazing food!
