This was a special mix that I did for DJ Benny Ben’s Cultural Vibe show on WDBM Impact 89FM, Michigan State University college radio in East Lansing.  I spent a couple of weeks working on the mix for the radio show.

I decided to divide it up into three parts.  The first part was dedicated to the newer Rap music that I had been buying lately.  The second part was dedicated to the more obscure old school Rap stuff that I grew up on (but didn’t own back when I made my “Old School Hip Hop” and “Electro Kingdom” mixtapes).  The third part was a condensed version of an early 1990’s golden era Rap set that I had been rockin’ for years.

While the on-air light was on, it was quiet on the set.  But whenever we all got together, there was always a lot of joking and laughter going, so most of us had to hang out in the green room:
